DARK ONE STUDIOS

DARK ONE is Patrik Tanner’s recording studio. The space is set up as a one-stop-shop with your comfort in mind. Over seventy-five albums have been tracked and mixed here since 2004. Big enough for your four piece band, the studio is best suited for singer / songwriters who need help putting together the whole package. The studio is not open to freelance engineers.

FROM OTHER RECORDING STUDIOS?

Usually when you book a recording studio, you get exactly that: A recording studio. At Dark One you get more than that. You will find a variety of analog and digital equipment, nice microphones and access to well over 40 great guitars and other stringed instruments, vintage drums, keyboards, stomp boxes and amps.

• Need arranging and production? Included! Patrik will work with you to get the most out of your material. 

• Need experienced players? Included! Patrik has played the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and a few other things for over 30 years.

• Need an engineer? Included! Patrik has good ears.

• Need rates? $350.00 per 8 hour day, or $50.00 per hour. Special project rates are also available upon request.

• Need a gear list and an address? Not so fast! Patrik likes to know a little something about who you are first.

The best way to get the ball rolling is to write Patrik an email, and tell him about what you are hoping to record. Include an MP3 or two. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Just a sample of what you do. After that there will be something to talk about, and it can be determined if Patrik and Dark One would be a good fit for you.
